Ed'Gimse of Van Nuys created GO AMXT, GO ISDT, and, as if Bruce hasn't enough advertising, ANY SUN. Here's a sleeper from Damien Mace of Beverly Hills: CZZZZZ. The five-dollar nod goes to Bob Chadwick and Reed Ames of Escondido, Calif. They sent us a list of 32 ideas, most of them bad. They managed to toucb several bases with FLY AJS, SHERPA, RIDE MX, and NGK B8H, But as the National C!,ampionship show draws to a close, most of us Bugs-watchers appreciate this timely sentiment: GO MANN. . 125 MILE NATION,AL JACI(AS~ ~E"OOR01G SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7 Bruce Baron concentrates while taking an EI Toro jump. 1 st rider leaves 7:01 am Start, noon check and finish at same location USRC Begins EI 'Toro MX *Limited entry * Drawing for start position * Silencers mandatory * Point run * All classes * 6 riders per minute * Follow up crew * LI. . . . frO. Morris Malone powered his AJS 250cc Stormer to a win in the 250cc Expert with his usual fine style. He had stiff competition from Dave Boydston, a close second on his Maico. Bruce Baron found the course to his liking and won the 125cc Expert moto aboard his Rickman. Except for a last lap tangle, Malone had the 500cc race in the bag, but was forced to settle for second with Greg Smith taking the win on his Mako.
