OUT NIFTY DUNES RIDES One of the Dunes' fast flye.... Doug Grant had a good day. swiftie as he and Runyard swapped wins in the first two motos. Glen appeared to have fint overall wrapped-up after he passed Runyard in the second moto and started to build a lead. The crowd was looking forward to an instant replay of the first moto, ' Late in the race Lund and Runyard had to lap a slower rider and Glen lost a couple of seconds trying to get around him. On the final lap Runyard lit the wick on his Montesa and passed a startled Lund to take the checkers first. Glen crossed the finish line with a very sour expression en his face! The third moto was all Runyard's. Mike got a good start and built a sizeable lead over Husky riders Lund and third place Steve Hdladay. 'Runyard was cool and fast under pressure and even had enough time to entertain the corwd with wheelies and cross-ups. An enormous crowd of Juniors sh owed up to slip and slide and peep and hide. (Peep and hide?) After the - dust had settled Rick Jacobs rode his Suzuki to the top Open trophy. Robin Clarke (CZ) and K.D.
