The small turn-out, caused by the Mammoth bash and a new series to the north, was treated to three 20-minute motos, which is more than most riders can handle. In fact, not one 100 Junior lasted out the final moto. Glen Lund and David Boydstun renewed a battle that hadn't occurred in several month,. The quick 250 Seniors took the first two spots, followed by Leonard Mellgren. AJS scored a pair of wins in the 500 Senior class, powcred by Rod Perry and Terry Huguely.
