Tom Rapp, "Mr. Bultaco" of Buena
Park, accounted for three straight wins
in the 250 Senior class to take overall
winner at the Indian Dunes motocross.
Though he was led from the starting
line in two heats, once by Mark
Abbatoye, a sensational young rookie
on a Rickman, Rapp was able to pull
away from a formidable field sucb as
Dave Rodgers, Tim Hart Bob Messer,
Mike Runyard, and first-day Senior
Dick Eierstedt.
Eierstedt, by virtue of the fact that
he has won 20 of his last 21 Junior

Dave Rodgers, also coming from
behind in every heat in the 125 Senior
