Damron finished the day with two wins and a second His' other win was a wire to wire affair in th e ligh tweigh t production race. His Suzuki simply outdistanced Pat E.vans Yamaha. James McWorthy was the first 175 and IUs Bridgestone pulled in 3rd overall. Premier Helmets offered three helmets to the winners in Jr. GP classes. The 125 winner was Gary Lucas, 250cc winner was Phil McDonald and Aaron Martenson not only won the 350 helmet, but the Overall Open Jr. GP MOTOCROSS WIn. The days other two overall winners were Pat Evans in the 125-200cc GP, and Jerry Greene in the 250 GP. The next ACA road race will be April . 18 at Carlsbad. (Results on page 22) McGILLIVRAY FRACTURE SUFFERS Southern California road racer John McGillivray sustained a broken neck when he was thrown from an over-turning car after the April 4 ACA Road Race at Willow Springs. McGillivray, who was not driving, was treated for cuts and bruises at a nearby hospital and released without x-rays being taken. He entered a local hospital near his home the next day and it was then learned of the fracture. McGillivray will be out of action for about three months. . continues its winning ways in short track.
