Ft. Worth. Makes Merry By Dodie Stingley FT. WORTH. TEXAS, Dec. 6, 1970 It will be a much merrier Christmas for many needy children in this area this vear. Over 5700.00 was taken in at the g.,le at Lake Worth Motocross Park. Charles lvie and Coy Latimer, promoters of the benefit said the riders ,... - '" Championship Breed ~ w Z w -' , tJ >- have consented to donate their winnings tJ for the day also. The money will go to the Goodfellow Fund for under·privileged children for Christmas presents. The 125 Jrs. lined up and took off with many biting the dust as the track was hard dirt with narrow COTlJers which sent several riders off the track and out into the loose sand and weeds. There were several jumps with one especially large one about half way around the course. Terry Dunn and Ronnie Williams tied on points (925) but Terry led 8 laps and Ron nie 4, giving Terry 1st place, Williams 2nd, Ronnie Wright took 3rd. and Bill Calpin 4th. In the 125 SR.
