OFF-ROAD
KENDA AMA NATIONAL ENDURO SERIES
ROUND 2 / JUNE 7, 2020
GREENSBORO, GEORGIA
P64
the NE Pro2 division, coming
from behind to nip eighth-overall
finisher and second NE Pro2
rider Craig Delong, on the Rock-
star Energy Husqvarna, by 20
seconds.
Delong led at one point but
gave up the NE Pro2 lead to
Barnes' incredible ride in test
six.
"That last test was super
tight," said Barnes. "I went into
it, and I was about 20 seconds
off the lead, and I was able to
pull it off. I started off pretty solid
the first two tests, but in test
three, I had a little mishap, and I
lost my rear brakes about three
miles in, so that really set me
kee," said Bobbitt. "The trails
were perfect, perfect dirt. I rode
my 300 today, pretty much my
favorite kind of bike. So, it was
great. No crashes all day. The
last test I think was brand-new
and actually really tight. The
dirt was actually like fertilizer.
It was like dark brown. So that
was really like a true, old-school
kind of enduro test. I think I got
second in there, and I think I
got third in the second test. I'm
pretty stoked [to finish] fifth on
the day."
The two Beta USA riders,
Thorn Devlin and Cody Barnes,
finished sixth and seventh,
respectively. Barnes also won
