Baylor got his first test win in test
five, but Toth was just one second
behind, leaving Toth entering the sixth
and final test with a minute-and-a-half
lead over Baylor.
Baylor did his best to make up time
in the final test and eventually won it,
while Toth dropped off the pace after a
few tip-overs in the ultra-tight test, but
Toth had built enough cushion to eas-
ily take the overall, the second of his
career, by 46 seconds.
Toth was pleased with his perfor-
mance, having not ridden the series in
such a long time.
"It's been a long road coming back
from breaking my leg twice, and these
[wins] are hard to come by, so I defi-
nitely cherish it," said Toth.
Toth had few problems during the
first four tests, but things got tougher
in the final two.
"The fifth test I laid it over a couple
times," said Toth. "I kind of got the bike
caught in some saplings. I ended up

n his first National Enduro in over a
year and a half, FMF/KTM's Josh
Toth turned in an impressive perfor-
mance to win the Cherokee National
Enduro in Greensboro, Georgia, win-
ning the first four tests to establish a
comfortable lead and then holding on
to take the win by 46 seconds ahead
of FactoryONE Sherco's Grant Baylor.
Like the rest of the country, the
Kenda AMA National Enduro Series
had been on hold for the past four
months, after having held round one of
the series in early February. However,
in beautiful but hot weather, the series
resumed action with round two taking
place on excellent trail while abiding by
physical distancing and other preven-
tative guidelines.
Toth started fast, winning test one
by five seconds ahead of Baylor. Toth
continued his winning streak in the
next three tests, with Baylor finishing
second each time.
