Espargaro To Join Marquez
At Repsol Honda

ccording to reports from motor-
sport.com, Pol Espargaro has
agreed to join the factory Repsol
Honda squad in MotoGP for the 2021
season.
The move will see Espargaro teamed
with arch nemesis Marc Marquez at the
expense of Alex Marquez, who has yet
to turn a racing wheel in MotoGP but is
already likely to be moved on.
Espargaro has been a cornerstone
of Red Bull KTM's MotoGP project
since its inception in 2017 and has
scored a best of third—KTM's only
MotoGP podium to date—at the 2018
Valencia MotoGP.
The Espargaro appointment means
Alex Marquez will likely be shifted to
the LCR squad to either partner Takaa-
ki Nakagami or Cal Crutchlow with full
HRC support. However, with Idemitsu
the main sponsor in a team made
specifically for Nakagami, it's likely that
three-time race winner Crutchlow will
be forced to make way for the Span-
