BSA~& TRIUMI!H DAZZlE THE MARKET .lust when the world was beginning to think it was all over for the British motorcycle industry, BSA and Triumph springs these new models on the market, and suddenly it is a whole new ball game.. Leading the two lines. with a fresh approach to two-wheel power and handling. is the all-new -350cc BSA "Fury" and Triumph "Bandit" machines. These two arc truh- dazzlers. with the forward-thrusting triangle frame that we have seen on the factory racers at Daytona and Talladega and the AMA mile tracks. The engines are vertical twins, four-stroke of course, with two overhead carns and optional electric starting. They'll be available, and competitively' priced, at BSA and Triumph dealers early next year. Brand new from IlSA are a pair of 500c.c 4-stroke singles. One is the road model, designated Gold Star 55, reviving a proud name out of motorcycle bistory. The other one you are already familiar with. It is the Vic.tory MX that won the Trans-AMA series on points. The 350 twins and 500 singles are the most exciting news in the Triumph and B5A comllcopia for 1971, but there are many, many major and detail changes to the familiar 650 twins, singles and triples in both lines.
