Ontario $50,000 Race ONTARIO, CALIF., Nov. 24 - Motorcycle racing's richest event ever has been programmed ioto Ontario Motor Speedway for Oct. 17, 1971, by track president, David B. Lockton. It also will be open to international cyclists. A 200-mile race on OMS' 3.2-mile infield road course on Oct. 17 will be the highlight of the weekend program. More than 100 of the world's greatest riders will compete in that event for a purse twice as great as any other offered in cycling. Lockton also revealed that a week-long motorcycle trade show is being planned in conjuction with the racing program. It would be held within the nO-acre, 25-million dollar sp.eedway complex, racing's .newest and largest multi-purpose motor competition plant.
