Stu Peters and Kelvin Franks of CMC: have announced that the weekly motocross will be changed to Friday night beginning Oct. 16 and will run through the end of November. As Messer, tonight's big winner, says, "It's a blast; you can get out and do your thing and n.ot have to drive out of town." That's a statement rarely heard in Southern California these days. In the Junior division Steve Flowers continued his fine riding, taking the checkered for first place in the Junior division's I25cc T.T. and Short Track. The last race of the' eve.ning was the powder puff won by JoAnn Miley on a Yamaha. Starter Chuck Murray played trophy guy for this event. Although the rain scared away some riders it sure didn't hurt the track. Several riders commented that it was in the best condition that it has ev~r been.
