Chuck Palmgren gets his just desert after winning his first National of the season, as well as becoming the first
rider to take the new Yamaha 650 to a National victory. Palmgren captured the 30 mile Nazareth event, while, one
day later, Dave Aldana grabbed a win at the mile track in Indianapolis, for his third National win of the season. For
reports from'both events, see pages 6-7. As reported in Cycle News last week, 150 people have been ordered to pay
fines for riding in Bean Canyon. Assistant Editor, John Bethea, went out to survey the situation and returned with a
