Bob gave up his Bultaco and used Jim McDonald's CZ to put himself in the spot light in his class. Jim Wilson was running good, but could not catch up with Messer and settled for second place. Rich Thorwaldson was the big bike class winner, taking the class.victory over AJS mounted Jim West.
