He also placed second 10 the 250Cc Junior Short Track behind Steve Jones (Ossa). Gary Wells started the night off with a win 10 the 125cc Senior TT with Ray Vanderpool (Bul) and Gary Jones (Yam) tak1ng second and third reSPectively. His second wln of the evening came 10 the 250 Senior TT with the battle for second aga1n between Jones and Vanderpool. This time 1t was Jones who held on to the number two sPOt. Wells' third andf1nal wln of the evening was 1n the 125cc Senior' ST. This time he had a new challenger 10 Scott Sm1th who pushed hard all the way, butcouldn't quite get 1t together and had to settle for second. Vanderpool flnlshed third. Stan Rogers won the 250 Senior S:Tfrom start to flnlsh holdlng off Vanderpool and Scott Autrey who flnlshed second and third respectively. Both 500cc Junior events were won by Gary Tanner (Mal). Second place in the 500Cc TT went to Steve Thomas 10 the 1'66 BSA VICTOR Ultra-rellable, enduro bike. Very good cond1tion, 21" front, lengthened swing arms, extra wheel, sprocket, parts.
