As Well As Four Mains At O.C.B. Story & Photos by Rich Hoffman ORANGE COUNTY, CALIF. July 1, 1970 - Gary Scott made lt100keasy Wednesday night, taking four Mains and f1n1sblng second in two others. To make things even more d1fflcultfor himself, he did the job riding four different makes of motorcycles. Gary won the 125cc Sr. Short Track, 250Cc Sr. Short Track, 500Cc Sr. Short Track and 500cc Sr. TT. . The 125cc Sr. T. T. was won by Dave Tudor, Yamaba, with Gary Scott second. In Ute 250cc Sr. T.T. it was Ron Ringen, on a Kawasaki, across the finish l1ne first with Gary Scott second and Greg' Wickam, giving a Suzuki a try, taking the third spot.. For the second week in a row Phil McDonald took both the 125cc Jr. T.T. and the 125cc Jr. Short Track. In the 125cc Jr. T.T., It was Phil all the way with Rob Morrison, Kawasaki, and Scott Smith finishing second and third. At the start of the 125cc Jr. Short Track, Phil found himself high and outside in the rougb stuff, and did some "super riding" to squeeze' into the first place to take the win. Second went to Rodney Parsons with Rob Morrison third. As usual, the 250Cc Jr. T.T. was the wildest race of the evening, with Scott Smith, Suzuki, first, Dan White second and Scott Hendrickson third. The fourth place spot went· to Morris Malone, wIlo certainly bas captured the hearts of the O.C.S. crowd. Morris bad the crowd on Its feet as be and Bob Prior battled for the 4th p1B:c,:e.Jlos~~on.
