Lon Simson (Ric) finisbed a distant second and Ron Randell, also riding a Rickman, took third, but only after a very close battle between the two. Bob Vacca won both the lOOCc and 125cc Amateur races in easy style, then moved up to become victorious in the 250cc Amateur. Ken Warner (Sac) and Dick Mosley (Hon) took second and third respectively in the 100cc while Tom CuJp (BuJ) and Chuck Daly (Sac) did likewise in the 125cc. Last year's 100cc E'xpert winner, Troy McKee, repeated in that category Saturday riding a Hodaka. Gene Canady, who couldn't quite reacb the winner's circle with a pair at. seconds in the 125cc and 250cc Expert classes, came up with bis third second behind McKee on b1s Sachs. John Rice (Sac) crossed the line third. Ricb Marquis, BID Bell, and BID Larson made Hondas victorious in the 350cc all-class race as they faced the checkered flag one- two- three respectively.
