Europeans Coming For Viking M-X Series Some at Europe's best motocross heros will be Ia the u.s. this summer for the Vildng International motocr oss series promoted by Husqvarna importer Edison Dye at La Mesa, Cal, " A six race Nation-wide series will be kicked atf by the Firecracker Grand Prix at Saddleback Park, Orange, Cal. on July 4th. Unlike the Inter-Am series that will be held later in the Fall, the VIldng races are to be for 250Cc bikes only. There are many International and American r iders who compete in the 250 class and the series gives manufactures an opportunity to display their 250 machlnes in the hands at the world'S best riders. Headliner of the for e ign stars will be Husky rider Torleif Hansen, th e young Swede who won the F rench Grand P rix two weeks ago. . Point leader in this year' s 250 champfonshlp, Joel Robert at Suzuki is not listed as a contestant but teammate OUe Pettersson will be on the tour. Two other Swedish Husqvarna riders Hakan Andersson and four time World Champ Torsten Hallman will square off against CZ riders Jiri Stodulka, Kenecny and Halm.
