The proposed set of rules reported In our 'last column, has become unoffic1a1ly dubbed "the Dirt Rider's B1ll of Rights", In local circles. \\batever it is called, the responses are pouring In ' and the majority byfar are In favor of the proposal. At this point the " DRBR" has been revtewed and unofficially blessed by several agencies which might have been expected to register opposition. There has been some giveand-take, but essentially the proposal remalns the same. We will carry a more complete rundown on this subject In the next column. Jim Curtis was a regular last year, but had very little success. A winter's layoff and a new bike made Jim a new rider however, and he was never headed In all three heats. The real shocker though was the new 175 class. Last season the 175's rode 250B and by , the end Woody Lawhon was winning the class regularly.
