Saddleback Park. The birds and the
butterflies wer e there as well as the
riders and fa milies fr om the Southern
California Trials Association.
The Masters ma de four loops around
a tratl that had sections thatvariedfrom
r ocky hills with boulders the size' of
melons to sand wash affairs with wheel
tripping gravel.
Bob Grove turned in another of his
consistent performances and won the
Master ' s class ahead of Bob Nichelsen,
Jack Ward and Derek Edgar. All but

time to prepare the bike to his lik ing.
Afte r a crippling first lap with lots of
points gained Derek settled down to
clean several problem s ec tions on the
clos ing laps.
Richard Bledsloe celebrated his new
Expert clas sifica ti on by winning that
class his first time out. Richard Nans
was s ec ond Exper t . Both were on Bultacos,
