Unlike any other form of. competition, the town and surrounding G EIs.inor~ GPA properties are the race course. There will be ten- I O m i . loops, and willconslst of. - 3 m i . of. pavement - 4 mi. of. i m proved mountain road - 3 mi. of. sandwash and open terrain. To protect the thousands of spectators expected, no trail, play, or mini bikes • will be allowed on the course or the Classic In Its Own Time streets of Elsinore. Violators will have their toys I mpounded t1lI the f ollowing M onday . The entrants will be required to check in and have their competition machine impounded by m idn1ghtbeforethei rrace • This is f or spectator safety and to insure a fast and ett1cient start the following morning(s) at 11:00 a.m, The start will be on Lakeshore Dr. (pav em ent) . There will be te n bikes to a row, and there will be five feet between rows. With over 1500 entries f or the Saturday and Sunday even t , this should be terrific . The trail (lOOCc) and lightweight ( 101 to 25Occ) will r ac e on Saturday . The heayYweights ( 251 to Ope n) will cover the 100 m i. course on Sunday.
