It wasn't but we still want to say a bIg thank you to those of you who sent greetings•••they were really apprecIated. One little goody we got from Blighty this week 15 that VIc Allan went home and Is using a compresstong release _or (they've been on the no list for quite a while on the other sIde of the pond) and reports that It Is working fine. For the umteenth year the heavyweIght scrambles riders are the last guys to get theIr names and numbers and potnts prInted In the paper. Maybe some of you should vote a little more carefullY for stewards. . Having a lot of thinking time lately we came up with dew th1ngs; namely, where are they now? In a few years of chasing after races you get a number of names you really want to keep tabs onandsome of the following are only a few. I! you knew us (edltor1al word for me) over the years please drop us acard a let us know what you are doing even if you don't find your name on this Ust. In other words, I want to know wher e you old timers who held one of the top five or ten top numbers are and if you're in VietNam I promise, I'll get the paper sent to you. unir Where Is Phil Brown?
