Nov. 27, 1969-Can there be a better way to settle that good Thanksgiving dinner than taking in the motorcycle races? Here was a chance to Initiate those vislt1ng relatives thathave never been to a race- before. The Trojan Speedway Thanksg1ving show had something for everyone. It was two shows for the price of one. Both nat track and TT were combined on the busy program and each type of event had 100cc, 125cc and 250Cc classes. As the evening shaped uP a two man duel developed between Gary Scott wIIo has been away for the best part ot the season and Jimmy Raymond, the track hero. Jimmy'S girl friend was chosen for trophy girl tor the evening and with that added Incentive be pulled ott wins in three of the tour trophy dashes. The fourth, of course, went to Gary Scott. Scott and Raymond were not the only hard riders on the Trojan clay. Danny Hockle was right there to add to the entertalnment along with Mike Lune and Greg Cove. In keeping with the theme of the holiday, Greg had a large purple plume sticking uP trom the top ot his helmet and we're sure that had to be a turkey teather.
