Motocross Sunday. Benites and Holcomb
swapped their Penton back and forth for
47 laPs in two hours to top the 125 team
class. Tom and Larry made a Bultaco
stand up and talk for three solid hours
taking the 250-500 team class. They
ftntshed 68 laps.
Eighty-seven teams signed UP to take
on the lengthened course, which was
widened as much as 50 feet for safe
passing.
Starting at 10:30 a.m. the 125's were
led early by the Thatcher-Shaw Bultaco
team. As the laPs numbered up, the
action in the pits became exciting. Exhausted racers braked to a stop, gave
