Eliminating" the E&Jteam dragster and then Harold Steele's AA/D rig Welch moved onto the line with a machine that was missing badly on one engine. Hoping to Psych-out his opponent Ron Feinger, Welch made no show of his problems. Feinger jumped his A/D machine Into a red-light and Welch s'talled.
