At Huntington Beach A Crac.ing Success By Mike Capallte Ratts Photos HUNTINGTON BEACH, CAL, Nov. 2With well over 100 riders in attendance, the H,B. park estabUshed ~elf Sunday as one of the better motocross courses in southern Callfornia. The reception from both riders and SPectators was so enthusiastic that track owner Don England has decided to put on another one in two weeks on November 16. Racingon a track that provided a little bit of all types of terrain except heavY dust and rocks, the riders proved their ability to adaPt to different tracks. The mudhole was a challenge of a different sort and instead of being deep and impassable, it was long and slick. It seems that the ground is hard and clay-like and the water dumped on it only sinks down so far and this leaves a slick layer on top that gave the riders no end of adhesion problems as it took a lot of riding ability to get through it with any speed.
