J.N. daZzled everyone with his daring downhill leaps and 30 mph wheelies through the water-hole.Roberts is currently in the Big Sky Country doing stuntwork for the uP-coming movie "Little Big Man". His only competition came from Larry Lees and Dick Beattie. J.N. won all three open class motos. The 250 class provided the competition for the day, with the first three placers each winning one of the three motos. After three hard fought races, Dave Martin was the best finisher. The hardest fought battles occurred In the 125 and Open classes with Warren Spencer and John Henry giving their normal nose to taU performances for all three heats of !he 125 class. In the Open fray Frank Myers and Preston Gerber continued a dlng dong scrap from last month that left a steady Ken Guio smUing In the middle with a second place trophy. Ken,and his son Cotton, Gulo came down from Big Piney, Wyoming and took home second places in the Open and 250 A classes respectively. These Guios are tremendous competitors but that can be expected because of the fact that they herd all the livestock on their ranch the year around wlfh a Greeves dirt bike. Tom Gould entered his first race on his Suzuki 90 and won the 100 class. Twelve year old Ed Crosby SuPplemented big brother Cal's third in the 250 A with a third In the 100 race. Finally, one very rotund "spectator" who had entered his bike in the races just to get a better view of the action fell off and was run over. Since he was only bruised and has pulled the "spectator" stunt before all the club members heaved a sigh of relief and began planning the next motocross event.
