Tom White, witb tbat Rustan's Cycle vest, proved to be a leader witb a lead you wouldn't belleve in !be 250 NoVice class. Outside at !be delay on tbe Big-Bore start, everytl:llng went according to scbedule and even witb the late start everyone was tlnisbed before 5 p.m. for a speedy trip home. Witb clouds keepIng Ole Sole bidden 10 tbe morning and a good breeze In tbe afternoon, tbere was not one case at beat prostration. A total of 172 entries gave a full scbedule without goIng less tban 4 laps on anyone event. It's bard to pick out tbe best events at tbe day, but tbere were some migbty st1tt baftles all tbe way.
