must say I get your point abont novice
riders and a 12 second dragster, but on
the other haad f feel that it does come
on 50 hard and sudden that it 15 always
reminding its rider of its potential. Most
all the guys I know with a 500 bllve a
great" deal at respect for it aDd never
screw it on unless the rCllld 15 mighty
wide and straight. Even then you damn
sure don't leave it on very long! On the
street I just plain enjoy cruising at 40
mph in 5th gear simply because it is 50
smoolb aDd quiet. It's almost Uke an
electric motor. My wife remarked that
she couldn't even bear the engine on
tbe freeway.
