TOUGHER THE BETTER
This ts in response to the letter trom
a concerned scrambles rider (whod!dn't
botber to stgn his aame) who asked for
comments from other riders. I am in
favor Of longer and rougher races, where
It Is a cba1lenge to even flnlsb. I don't
feel I1ke I've gotten my money's worth
when I go out to Perris and ride nine
laps on the short course; thls is the
main reason why I will probably not buy
a Scrambles number next year. I also
sometimes feel ashamed to Identity myself as a scrambler be
