until the loth lap when Mel took over.
Lacher (H-D) went on to win by ten
lengtbs while Paul fought back the advances of Dave Smith on the Crawford
Chevrotlet Norton.
Amateur honors went to the fast Northern Callfornlan Don Castro (Triumph)
who gobbled uP Keith Mashburn, Terry
Donaher and Marshall Becker on lap 6 of
the 10-lapper and held on for the distance.
