We've put the suggest ions for improv Ing scramb ies 10 Ibis column for quite
a few weeks now and asked for suggestions and comme nts too. We finally got
one. Big-bik e rider C.H. Wheat disagrees with the idea of putting more
turns 10 current tracks to slow them
down, fee1log that Ibis would further discrimina te against the big bikes and it's
the big bikes we're trylog to bring back.
As C,H, poloted out, macb10ery bas
changed drastica lly. The newer big bikes
are a lot dl!feren t tbao the old ones. We
accept that and tbaok bim for taJcIog time
out to call up and speak up for bis group.

One of the fastest and hardest fougbt
races of !be nigbt was 10 the 250 Expert

The 250 Am. race got off to a wild
start when one rider went down in !be
first turn and about three got off coming
out of it. John Fite grabbed an early lead
in !be restart with Gorena and Ashley
