His leathers didn't save him from the pain of the scrape, and they were actually getting ready to take him a way in the ambulance. However, he stuck with it, eventually taking the big event of the night. Young Steve Bass beat Woods in the trophy dash, in a race that warmed the hearts of everyone. Markel, Flint's national motorcycling champion, started in back d the pack in every race because of b1s S\IPl!rior &bUity and experience. But Robinson bullt a lead, then played it cool as the event's biggest crowd d 5,500 spectators looked 00. It was a beautiful day for rac1ng and the turnout surprised many FMC members who were fearful the Super Bowl game would hurt the crowd.
