Hart Park for the finish. A no-freeway route was pr ovided for small bikes or anyone who wished to take their time. Both routes used the same check-point on San Fernando Rd. Norma Hayes left the park with a car load of feathers, as one of the ten turkeys given away was stlll kicldng. A pair of authentic 1894 B- B-Guns decided the winners of the rest of the gobbler s . The Turkey Shoot turned out to be a target contest with Jim Hotsenp1ller, Martin Nelson, and Dick Watkins topping the fie ld for accuracy . Week after week Leon won the 500cc and he was beating a l300cc Harley, a 48-inch Triumph and a 650cc BSA to the wire.
