Crossing into Mexico, they marvelled at the striking contrast in llfe-styles and the breathtaking pacific coastline scenery, almost unspoiled by the encroachment of "progress." The pack stopped at three more places, ten to twenty miles apart, on their way south, at each one drawing another card, until at last they reached their destination: Ensenada. There they selected their final sealed card. Ripping the envelopes open, one r ider , Dale A. Marschke, proprie tor of Dale's Moder n Cycles in San Bernardino, watched in growing excitement as his poker hand emerged: 4 of a kind.
