WEDNESDAY - FIRST PLACE
Jerry Cheney of SIOUX FALLS, S wins shorttrack main event on a Yamaha DT-l , Nov,D.,
Ice rider Bill Gray of Couer 0' Alene, Idaho, was 2nd.
THURSDAY - FIRST PLACE
Bill Gary, the novice, won the main event on his Yamaha DT-1 with 2nd place in this short
track event going to previous nights winner, Jerry Cheney.
FRIDAY - FIRST PLACE
Friday night the Black Hills Classics event was a Moto Cross Scrambles. Jerry Cheney
was again the winner on a Yamaha DT-1. And he added to his laurels by taking an Impressive second place in the big bike event on a Yamaha YR-2.
SATURDAY - FIRST PLACE
Saturday night was the professional class C. short track event. Neil Keen, who leads the
nation In short track point standings, won handily on his Yamaha 01-1. Novice rider Bill
Gray took a strong third place. 5 of the 8 starters In this very important short track event
were riding Yamaha DT-ls.
SUNpAY - FIRST PLACE
The nation's high-point novice, Keith Mashburn of Los Angeles, won the 250cc class at
the biggest event during the classics - the half mile race on Sunday. S

to Rod Valesquez, a novice rider from Colorado Springs, Colorado.
