and you get tired on it but it i s a good

for the dust and you can bet no one el se

A s Nilsson told us " When it gets like that
I slow down. I like to see where 1'm

The day ended wi th the purse and trophy presentation and ev eryone went home

which would still serve the purpose.
M ulder probably wouldn't have suffered qul te as much damage; still he finished
the r ound, but with a little f inger that
Iooked br oken and som e damage to the
bones fu r ther up i nto the hand and he was
unable to make the second round. This
left Nelson blazing away up front and not
looking around to see if anyone was com Ing, Hallman started after him 13 seconds behind and lap after lap knocked 3
seconds off! Steve Scott (Bultaco) had a
good race wi th Nilsson until Steve just
plain ran out of st eam . Chuck Minert
also took on the Swedish r i der with Bruce
Jackson (Greeves) wi thin shooting distan ce. A t the blue !lag Hallman finally

Second round Nelson again flew into the
lead and held it for a lap and a half wi th
his Montesa showing mor e steam in cer tain sections of the course than Hallman' s Husky but finally Hallman passed
him on one of the downhill of f- camber
section and Ron fell I n behi nd him. These

have been Hall man' s 250 ending fourth,
Bill Nilsson f ifth and an "independent "

As the Eur opeans didn' t r eceive prize

Open Juni or class went to Maico r i der
Jeff Willis; he beat out Ed Walker (Triumph) who had done so well the Sunday
before over the same course .
