Once again there is to be a series of International Mote-Cross events to be held In Australia and New Zealand at the end of this year and early 1969 _ during the European winter but in Southern Hemispbere's summer. There will be a series of 10 events, 5 in Australia and 5 in New Zealand. First event will be held in Perth Western c Aus tralia, in mid - Nove mber , followed by v.-eekly events in South Aus tralia , VIctoria, New South Wales an d Queens land, wbe n macbines will be air-fr ei ghted a cross the Tasman Sea to r the 5 events in New Zealand. The events will be run under F .I.M. Extra Na tio nal Rules and any r ider with a current F.I .M. lnte r national Ucense may ap pl y for engagement, i .e., Englisb, European, American, J:lll'Jlese, etc . Briefly, the financlal arrangements are that Mote-Cross Enterprises, a section of the Manawatu Orion Motor Cycle Club, New Zealand, allocates eacb rider sufiicient money to pay bis return fare (by air) for bis return trip. In addition to this, accommodation and transport to and from the races in Australia and New Zealand is provided free of charge. Reasonable prize- money can be won at eacb event.
