Sin ce the AMA r ule Is tha t a r i der may not be moved out of his riding class, but must r i de with the next machine group of like ability, the Sprockets felt thai this complied wlth the rule although many of the riders express ed disfavo r wl th the setup. The Sprockets are going 10 con tact the District Refe r ee f or a ruling on th i s problem. Bob spent $1700 and 6 months In conv erting a stock 450 Honda Into a show- worthy street custom bike. Bob started by r eplacing the Honda steel rims wi th Akront Alloy jobs that are highly polished and look terriflc. Then on to the big job of a new Yetman f rame and Ceriani suspension. The sea t and tank are combined In a beau tiful copper tone metalflake tlberglass ' one- piece lUlit. Almost everythlng else on the bike ts chrome and what a beant1flll job it is. The triple plate chrome work was done at El Monte Chrome and Plating in El Monte, California. T o top off the total outlook are the all-chrome headlight and ch rom e cables. Total weight is at a mere 290 I bs , The engine is stock. Bob Is giving this beauty to his 14year-old daughter Sheryl. This will be her fourth bike.
