The weather had been threatening
for about a week prior to the races,
but on the Sunday of the event , it
broke clear and wann. The earlier
rain s made it an excellent course on
thi s sandy track.
A total of 250 ri ders turned out
for a full day of raci ng on thi s exci ti ng course , wi th abqut 2000 spectators to cheer them on.
Th e feature event , the 40-in ch
Expert go, was won by Bruce Anderson on a T ri umph borrowed at the
track.
