GRADUATION TOUR fOR "PROJECT BSA" BOY SCOUTS On August 26 and 27, ·Project BSA- took its grad uatio n tour from La Mirada to Lake Arrowhead Boy SCout carq> and returned. Project BSA is a motorcycle safety program in which fifteen Explorer SCouts were taught to ride motorcycles. The program is co-sponsored by the '0 "" os "" CD Q., .... .... ..; .... indicated that tbe greate st need was in the area of rider training. The greatest percentage of the accidents occuring can be attributed to a lack of skill on the part of the operator. The boys met each saturday morning for three hours of highly supervised training. The training was intentionally kept at a slow pace in order to better evaluate each phase and, as a result. a com prehens.ive pJogram was developed. which, it is hoped. will help sol ve a serious safety problem.
