They were not on tbe original entry list due to a gun jumper by the AMA GHQ. There will also be a big bike Amateur race. The last warmup prior to the National comes up on Aug. 20th. Don't miss it it you want to be a contender at the Nationals. Aggie bas also added a short track race at the Lancaster Fairgrounds at the ~arlY Fair the end of this month. This Fair drew over 80,000 people in three days last year. Look for a west coast record crowd to attend the races. 25 miles from the center of San Jose, Calif. as a place where they can ride. Commissioners asked the recreation department to see if it can find suitable undeveloped land. Recreation Director B. V. Amyx said he doesn't think the county owns any land tbat would be suitable for the motorcyclists. The commission told Amyx tbat if be can't locate a suitable site, he might suggest means of getting access to private property which contains a mountain.
