DANGER LAW ON THE lOVE AGAIN CN EDITORIAL SPARKS FEMALE CO.ENT Read your paper every week and enjoy it very much. The last issue (June 15 edition) was of particular interest. (Refering to the Gals vs. Guys in Scrambles & TT's,) I think if a gal has the ability to handle her machine. has proper attire and instructions they should be allowed to compete in all events that are open to the fellows. The gal's agility should give the guys some real competition and I'm sure they can stand the competition of a gal - can·t they? Anyway it would add a bit of spice to any event. So why not give it a try! Sincerely • V. White Impressed Subscriber I was so impressed by your sample copy I want to be included on the subscription list. Please keep the pressure on as to the steps we can take to prevent the ridiculous laws now trying to be passed by most states. We have a compulsory helmet law in Georgia and I understand other law of the same type are comi ng up. Thanks for a great newspaper. GENE EIDSON Lawrenceville. Ga. I'd like to express my thanks to the Greenhorn sponsors for a fine event and especially to the Calif. riders in general for their sportsmanship and friendliness. Also to the unknown many who gave me water after losing my canteen after an encounter with a huge cactus. I learned a lot and had a ball. We'll be back with different handlebars, more travel front and rear suspension. different rake. and see if we can·t do a bit better next time.
