beat Butch ROWland, Gary Albright
and Don Finan in the 500cc Expert
class. Allen Ingersoll, in the Open
Novice class, had gold in his eyes.
until a crash took him from the lead
in the first Moto and slowed him
d'lwn the rest of the day. Stephan
Szikszay. on a Triumph, did a fine
bit of riding to win three in a row.
Dick Mills also rode the Open Expert
class but couldn't hold back Myron
Carter, to whom winning is nothing
new. Carter rides like a veteran
Expert and we understand he is still
in his teens.
