June 3 10 24 July I 8 21 Aug. Sept. FRIDAY NIGHT ASCOT PREVIEW One of the largest motorcycle racing fields of the year - more than 150 riders - is set for Friday's 18event meet at Ascot Park. First event is set for 8:15. There is much interest attached to the way Sammy Tanner has been having his troubles this year at the 183rd and Vermont Avenue ova!. Not that the "Flying Flea-has been finishing way back, he's always been in the money. But so far in 1967 Tanner has won only one Main Event, and that's big news in the cycle wars hereabouts. Tanner, Dan Haaby, Al Gunter, Mert Lawwill, Mel Lacher. Cal Rayborn, Chuck Jones, Ralph White and Dick Hammer are among the favorites. Gene Romero is out for several weeks with a broken leg suffered in a race recently at Tulare. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR INDIANA. KENTU CKY, TENN ESSEE June 3 T.T. Leesburg.
