World's Largest Easter Egg Hunt Becomes World's Hottest Easter Egg Hunt r-fRlII.ofORS --i '~" I : • , ~I ~I . , I HODAKA 1 L,nwood 3346 Centu" , : -.. BIY~'E 1-4864' RueD Puts SAFETY That's right kids, they've had to change the date of the Modern Cycle Easter Egg Hunt again. It seems that APril the 2nd, the date planned, is taken UP by the Shamrock Enduro and the Wildflower Fes tival that is held annually in the Hi Vista area. Enduros are having a difficult time as it is, and they sure doo't want to offend the people who have been so kind to us riders in Hi Vista. The new date is Monday July 3. 1967. This date is fine for just about everyone. The temperature in the desert is perfect for taking the spouse and kiddies along. It's a long holiday weekend, so if you have to travel any distance, it makes tbe triP a lot easier. The re' s no conflict with Wes Cooley'sanuual roadrace on July the 2nd, and it won't bother the Jackrabbits Motorcycle Club when they throw their bash on the 4th. All the dealers and distributors who have given prizes will get more publicity exposure through the advertising in both Cycle News and Modem Cycle magazine. As of today. Mod. Cycle Mag. has six brand new, beautiful motorcycles to give away ... a Kawasaki. Montesa, Bultaco, White. Steen Taco Mini Bike and an MB sportcycle•. The grand prize of ONE 'IlIOUSAND DOLLARS is waiting for some lucky motorcyclist to find. A recent window store promotion, at J.W. Robinson's exPensive department store in Los Angeles, featured Triumph motorcycles in connection with the new mod look for women. If the fair sex become interested in the smart attire that can be worn awheel. there'll be more of when the ACTION is! them riding motorcycles than ever before. As an example, the sport of skiing gained its greatest impetus when women's fashion took to the slopes and so this natural tie-in between style and motorcycling is a good sign fo r the industry.
