Paul Wilde wheeled a Yamaha 80 into the win in the 100cc class against some of the 90's and 100's with the veteran dirt tracker looking like a road racer all the way. Daytona champ Walt Fulton dropped down to the 50cc class this time and turned hack January winner -Old- John Hateley. Fulton on the Suzuki and Hateley on the Yamaha 50 'rode them as if tbey were 500cc machines and whizzed by many of their larger counterparts. Glory For the Headlight Set I., The popular production class for street machines 250cc and under again proved to be a training ground for many new riders. For the second straight month Dave Damron captured the 250cc class final with a 15 inch Suzuki with dirt tracker Randy Say trying road racing fDr the first time and finishing a clDse second.
