After Corder dropped out Dud Perkin's pair of northern aces, Dick Mann and Mert Lawwill weat to work and finished first and third with tile So.th's Clyde Litcb mDDing in second to break up the HarleyDavidson combo of national champions from San Francisco. Mann finished second in the trophy nash to Corder and. coupled with his stlUe final indoor win. he moved to second in the final standings with Lawwill finishing in third. It was a 1-2-3-4 point standing finish for the north with Jim Odom. who did not make the main this week. taking fourth place in final standings. Litch moved up in the last chase to break the string and finish 5th in point. The slamming. sliding action found 170 entries on hand for the popular show that gave the fans 27 events in less than three hours time.
