Winners holding the best 5 out of 7 cards were awarded trophies while runners-up received ribbons in each eli vision. Winners were Doris Hale. Zelia Perkins, Sandie Gibeau. women's division. BEAUTY BIKES .. Here are a pair of two-wheeled beauties which, although becoming familiar around the California scene, are rare examples of the kustomizing craft. On the left below is the ~ maculate 500cc Triumpb in a Metisse frame owned by Lynn Wineland. Modified to the Nth degree for daring desert dashes. the cycle features di sc rear brake. Ceriani forks. alloy tank etc., etc. ,And on the right is another look at the Corvair powered ·Six-Pack" which has changed alittlefrom wben you saw it last. Owne~builder No~ llBn Grabowski has put some finishing touches on the cycle. which began life as an Indian shaft drive Anny model. Front grille and distinctly styled rear section are only part of the new goodies. These two bikes were. for us, the highlights of the recent Motorama at the Great Western Exhibit Hall near Los Angeles. Cycle News is on the lookout for new, original Kustomsin the motorcycle world.
