two Honda 100' s. The Hondas began with a 70 yard advantage• .After two
fal se starts, the fi eld got away wi th the Honda riders, K. Lee and F. Edwards
ridin g like they were being chased by fire-eati ng dragons, which i n fact, they

In the Amateur & Expert Open it was a battIe between such talent as M.

THE OPEN NOVICE This event was not without a couple of restarts,
but once the field of eight bikes got going, R. Fish, Norton mounted, out
dragged the other riders at the sta rt to keep the lead from D. Hainzinger, Tri
and M. Mortensen who put on quite a battle for 2nd place.
A good crowd of about 370 spectators and 139 ride rs were on hand in
moderately cool weather for the running of 42 events under the lights.
THE FUTURE - One of the bright stars in Elsinore TT's future is
LIGHTS. Yes, Edison Co. lights, lots of them. To be in either next week or
the week after. On the night they go on, the track will hold a special event,
awarding extra la rge trophies.
